After winning a Cincinnati tennis tournament, Jack Dantzler is approached by a former opponent whose daughter, Jax, was murdered sixteen years earlier. Reluctant to reopen a cold case, Dantzler changes his mind when he learns the medical examiner who performed Jax’s autopsy was later murdered. He recruits true-crime writer Julie Bradley to help, but her recklessness puts her life at risk.
