Homicide Detective Paige Aldridge has caught her fair share of killers. Yet she knows the Devil’s Mark Killer is something different. Each victim has the mark of the Devil carved into their skin. Using her powers as a Reader, she searches the Collective Conscious searching for anyone thinking about the Devil’s mark.
And she finds someone. Through their eyes, she sees they are over the body of a woman with the same mark carved into her chest. She sends the thought for the killer to look at his license and he does. She has her suspect – Victor McCain.
In this thrilling crossover novel featuring Lynn Tincher’s Paige Aldridge and Tony Acree’s Victor McCain, demons are on the loose and the bodies are piling up as an ancient evil seeks revenge on those who imprisoned him, as well as an unknown player who wants to destroy both Paige and Victor.
ABOUT LYNN TINCHER:
Lynn was born just outside of Louisville, Kentucky in the beautiful city of La Grange. One of her fondest memories of growing up was when a short story she wrote for an English class was read in front of the students at Oldham County High School. Since then, her love for writing blossomed. She studied Theater Arts at Eastern Kentucky University in hopes of becoming a Drama/English teacher. Lynn had several articles published in local magazines and online, but the thought of writing a novel always stuck with her.
Inspired by Nora Roberts, JK Rowling, and Greg Isles, Lynn wrote Afterthoughts, the first book in the Mind Bending Series, a fictional psychological crime series that follows the life of a young Louisville Police detective named Paige Aldridge. Blackwyrm Fiction picked up Afterthoughts for publication in 2008. When she signed the contract, it landed Lynn the center page for a story in Leo Weekly. Since then, Lynn released Left in the Dark, Buried Deep, Where There is Light, and the fifth book, Junna is set to release soon.
Between writing Afterthoughts and Left in the Dark, Lynn was diagnosed with Brugada Syndrome, a rare and fatal genetic heart disease. She is determined to help spread the word about Brugada Syndrome and hopes to help others who are dealing with it or other heart diseases. Lynn was the 2014 Red Cap Ambassador for the American Heart Association Heart Walk where she was the guest speaker at several events and a runway model for the Go Red for Women luncheon.
Lynn now lives just outside of Louisville on a farm in Shepherdsville with her husband, Eric, where she loves to garden organically. She has three wonderful children, Emily (Stephen), Aaron (Michaela), and Becca (Vasily), four beautiful grandsons, Max, Eli, Benny, Auggie, Audrey, and two fantastic dogs named Rey and Finn. You can’t forget the myriad of cats, goats and a donkey.
