Goshen, KY –September, 18, 2025 – The La Grange Book Fair is proud to announce Oldham County Tourism and Conventions as its official sponsor. The partnership underscores a shared commitment to celebrating literature, supporting local authors, and showcasing the vibrant cultural life of Oldham County.

The La Grange Book Fair, a much-anticipated annual event the first Saturday in August, brings together readers, writers, and publishers from across Kentucky and beyond. With dozens of authors attending, the fair has become a cornerstone of the region’s cultural calendar.

Oldham County Tourism has long been dedicated to promoting the unique experiences that make the county special—from historic Main Street La Grange with its famous train that runs through town, to arts, dining, and its ever popular, Oldham Farm Tours. By sponsoring the La Grange Book Fair, Oldham County Tourism strengthens its mission to grow and highlight cultural experiences that attract visitors, enrich the lives of its residents, and add to its overall quality of life.

The La Grange Book Fair will be held on August 1, 2026 at CityPlace in downtown La Grange. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome. Visitors can expect author meet-and-greets and plenty of opportunities to purchase signed books directly from authors.
