Hydra Publications and Tony Acree are excited to announce Dark Harbor Pictures has picked up the options on his Victor McCain and Samantha Tyler thrillers.
Goshen, Kentucky, June 1, 2022: “Oldham County, Kentucky author and publisher, Tony Acree, signs contract options with Dark Harbor Pictures June1, 2022.
 
ABOUT THE DEAL:
Dark Harbor Pictures, the genre film and television division of Element Media Group, has optioned the four novels in the Victor McCain thrillers, The Hand of God, The Watchers, The Speaker, and Revenge, as well as the two short stories, Nightmare and Back to Hell. They have also optioned the rights to the Samantha Tyler thrillers, Vengeance, and Absolution. Dark Harbor is developing and producing two streaming shows based on the title characters, with a major motion picture also under consideration. Dark Harbor Pictures also plans to develop and produce graphic novels featuring both characters.

On Victor McCain: Dark Harbor Pictures is pleased to announce signing with author and publisher Tony Acree on “A Victor McCain Thriller” bringing the “Hand of God” Victor McCain to the big and small screen through the adaption of the books written by Acree. The world is finally ready to meet God’s Bounty Hunter, Victor McCain. Victor assembles a team of rich characters to fight Satan’s band of present-day soldiers hell-bent on the total annihilation of humanity. The “Hand of God” series is slated to be produced in Kentucky and will be steeped in local tradition, locations, and storytelling as rich as the bourbon that flows from the smoky small batch barrels found there.
 
On Samantha Tyler: The series will follow the kick-ass, take no prisoners adventures of the supernatural vigilante Samantha Tyler. The show will take Samantha and her team of supernatural avengers to remote sections of the globe uncovering threats that could change all of mankind, as we know it. Through this series, we will also look to do cross-over shows that will bring our fiery amber-haired angel in partnership with the “Hand of God” Victor McCain.
